Hervidor de cuello de cisne: temperatura del agua de extracción

What it is and what sets it apart: Not cup temp alone—water at the coffee. Espresso group stabilizes; filter kettle drives. Interacts with grind and time.

How it’s used or measured: Thermometer or controlled kettle. Filter often ~92–96°C; espresso ~90–96°C. Log °C in Brew Lab.

Flavours and cup impact: Hotter: more extraction/bitterness potential; cooler: more acidity/under. Benefit: tune light vs dark roasts.

Technical notes: Cold brew uses low temp on purpose with long time. Not roast temperature.

Common mistakes: Always boiling “because”. Dropping temp only to hide coarse grind. Ignoring dripper cool-down.
