Yes. All features are completely free for now. We may add premium features in the future.
Specialty coffees with detailed information: origin, roaster, process, tasting notes and community ratings. You can filter by country, roast, specialty or format, or use the barcode scanner.
No. You can explore the catalog and view coffee pages without signing up. An account is needed to save coffees in your pantry, brew with the timer, keep your diary or interact with the community.
Go to the Brew tab, choose your method (V60, Aeropress, espresso...), select the coffee and cup size. Adjust coffee and water, turn on the timer for step-by-step guidance and, when finished, log how it turned out to save it in your diary.
Depending on the method, you can set coffee and water amounts, the ratio between them and brew time. Cafesito suggests starting values and you adapt them to your grinder, cup and taste.
Yes. After a brew you can save it as a reusable recipe. You can also import recipes shared by link and find all your recipes under Profile → My recipes to repeat them in one tap.
In Diary you see your activity by day, week or month: caffeine intake, average dose, weekly chart and stock forecast based on your pace. You can also open the map of origins for coffees you have tried.
It is a taste map built from the coffees you drink and save. In the DNA tab on your profile you see which sensory profiles dominate your history and discover coffees that fit you better.
You can create private, shared or public lists to organize coffees, recommend them or build collections with others. Invite members, share the list link and add coffees from their detail page or from search.
Yes. With an account you can chat privately with other users through end-to-end encrypted messages. You can attach coffees, lists or badges, and open your conversations from Profile → Messages.
On Home, Your pantry gathers the coffees you have at home. You can store several bags of the same coffee, track stock for each one, mark them as finished and access them when brewing or logging diary entries.
It is a visual bar that estimates which phase your coffee is in: degassing, peak flavor or drink soon. It is calculated from roast date, package type (whole bean, ground or capsule), when you opened the bag and roast level. It helps you decide when to brew for the best cup.
It is your collection of achievements inside Cafesito. By brewing, trying coffees and keeping your diary you unlock badges by category. Open it from your profile photo and share the milestones you like.
Under Profile → Options → Privacy you can choose whether your profile, your DNA and who can message you are public or private. With a private profile you do not appear in user search and anyone who wants to follow you must send a request you accept from notifications.
Yes, on the iPhone app only and optionally. If you enable it under Profile → Options, Cafesito writes the estimated caffeine from your coffee entries to the Apple Health app. It is opt-in, write-only and we do not use that data for advertising.
Yes. You can create a custom coffee with your own name, roaster and details and use it in your pantry, diary and brews just like any catalog coffee.
Yes. On iPhone and Android there are home screen widgets for your pantry or weekly caffeine. On iPhone you can also use Cafesito on Apple Watch to log brews; Apple Health sync runs from the iPhone.
Yes. Cafesito is available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. You can also use it on Android and on the web.
Yes. You can explore the catalog and view coffee pages on the web without signing up. With an account you can also install Cafesito as a web app (PWA) from your browser.
