Coffee drinks

Irish coffee

Also known as café irlandés · Irish whiskey coffee

Diagrama de proporciones: Irish coffee (taza en corte)

Cup proportions: Coffee 55% · Liqueur 20% · Sugar / syrup 5% · Cream 20%.

Cold cream over hot coffee is the signature; don’t stir until you drink.

Use a clean brew or lungo-style espresso so whiskey doesn’t mask the coffee.

In Cafesito log the base brew and note whiskey/cream in the diary.

Avoid overly thick whipped cream or bitter over-extracted coffee.
