Ibrik

Also known as cezve · ibrik · briki · turkish pot

Ibrik / cezve de cobre

Ibrik (also cezve or briki) is the traditional Turkish coffee pot. It is the vessel, not a separate brew method.

The cup comes from the Turkish method (powder grind, foam, grounds), not the pot metal alone.

Use gentle heat and see the Turkish coffee entry for the recipe. In Cafesito: Brew Lab “Turco”.
