Roast

Omniroast

Also known as omni roast · omni · dual-purpose roast

What it is and what sets it apart: Differs from generic “medium”: a conscious solubility/sweetness choice for two uses. Both methods still need dial-in.

How it is done: Set mid development window → QC on V60 and machine → tweak until both are acceptable → label dual use.

Flavours and cup benefits: Helps small menus and online shops—fewer SKUs. Won’t shine like dedicated profiles.

Technical notes: Often light-medium to medium. Espresso rest often longer than filter from the same bag.

Common mistakes: Do not promise perfection everywhere. Do not use oily dark as “omni”.
