Water recipe

Also known as water recipe · receta mineral · target minerals · agua remineralizada

Receta de agua: Objetivos de GH/KH (y opcionalmente magnesio) para brew

What it is and what sets it apart: A water recipe turns flavour/machine goals into concentrate or salt grams on RO/distilled. Distinct from “use bottle X” with no numbers.

How it’s used or measured: Pick GH/KH targets → calculate or follow a published recipe → mix → verify with kit/EC. Save the formula in Brew Lab.

Flavours and cup impact: Good recipe: predictable sweetness/acidity; bad remineralizing: salty or flat. Benefit: home–café parity.

Technical notes: It works through GH, KH, alkalinity and sometimes Mg vs Ca—not magic new minerals.

Common mistakes: Mixing salts by eye. Calling plain distilled a “recipe”. Confusing with coffee-to-water ratio.
