At Cafesito, we value and respect our users' privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your information when you use our application.
By using Cafesito, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information we collect
Cafesito only collects the information strictly necessary to provide its features.
2.1 Information provided by the user
When you sign in with Google, we collect your user identifier (Google ID), email address, profile name and profile picture, if available.
2.2 Information generated through app usage
Coffees you add or mark as favorites, personal lists, activity records, brews and in-app preferences.
2.3 Technical information
Technical identifiers needed for the app to work and basic error or crash information.
3. How we use the information
We use your information only to enable sign-in, save and sync your data, improve the app experience and provide technical support.
We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes.
4. Legal basis
We process your data based on your consent when registering and on the performance of the service you request.
5. Storage and security
Your data is stored on servers managed by Supabase, a secure platform aligned with GDPR principles. We apply reasonable measures to protect it.
6. Data sharing
Cafesito does not sell, rent or transfer your personal data. Only technical services needed to run the product can access the data, such as Google authentication, Supabase and, if accepted, Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager.
7. Data retention
Your data is kept while your account remains active and until you request deletion of your account and associated data.

You can request deletion at any time from the app or by emailing hola@cafesitoapp.com. More details are available in Account deletion.
9. Your rights
You may access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data. Contact: hola@cafesitoapp.com.
10. Children's privacy
Cafesito is not intended for children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
11. Changes to this policy
Any relevant change will be communicated through the app or the website.
12. Cookies and similar technologies
On the web and legal pages we show a cookie notice on your first visit.
- Essential cookies: required for the service to work properly.
- Analytics cookies: enabled only if you accept them.
Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed by removing cafesito_cookie_consent from local storage.
