Single estate

Single estate means one productive unit. It can be a microlot or larger farm volume. Differs from regional lots (“Huila”, “Yirgacheffe”) that mix farms.

Offers terroir coherence when well handled; a poorly processed estate still tastes poor. Read process, variety and roast date.

In Cafesito prefer cards with farm + process + score.

Assuming single estate always means top specialty, or mixing it up with regional single origin.
