Eco-pulped

Also known as eco-pulp · ecological pulping · despulpado ecológico · agua reducida

What it is and what sets it apart: Differs from traditional wash by less water ferment and more friction. Often near white honey/semi-washed.

How it is done: Eco pulper → mechanical demucilage → brief rinse → dry → hull.

Flavours and cup benefits: Clarity and moderate sweetness; less classic ferment. Water sustainability.

Technical notes: Calibrate to avoid bean damage. Label: eco-pulped / mechanical wash.

Common mistakes: Eco-pulped is not natural. Not always identical to fully washed.
